Oil sealed rotary vane vacuum pumps are used in all areas of vacuum engineering.
They are equally suited for both industrial production and research applications. They may be used to generate a rough and medium vacuum or as backing pumps in pump combinations with Roots vacuum pumps or high vacuum pumps. Rotary vane pumps are built as one- or two stage pumps. The ultimate pressure range is depending on the model between 0.5 mbar and 5•10-5 mbar. The comprehensive pumping speeds ranging from 1.5 m3/h up to 13000 m3/h
The S 1,5 is a single-stage, oil-sealed rotary vane pump with a gas ballast valve. The very small and light weight pump is used in all areas of vacuum engineering where a low intake pressure is required. The S 1,5 is driven by a flange mounted AC motor. The shaft of the pump and the shaft of the motor are linked by means of a pinned coupling.
Pumping speed: 1,9 m3/h with Ultimate pressure of 5 x 10-1 mbar
The two stage, oil lubricated TRIVAC B is the logical step ahead within the well-proven TRIVAC concept. Here the performance and the characteristics of the pumps have been adapted without compromise to market requirements. The TRIVAC B pumps with their comprehensive range of accessories have proven themselves time and again as rugged pumps in many and varied applications. The ultimate pressure is about 10-4 mbar. The pumping speed, depending on the pump size, TRIVAC D 4 B to TRIVAC D 65 B, is in the range from 4 to 65 3/h (2 to 38 cfm).
New customers’ requirements as well as increased environmental requirements gave rise to the further development of the TRIVAC E. Besides standard voltages and frequencies, Leybold Vacuum offers world motors, which are specially required by OEMs.
The standard version of the SOGEVAC rotary vane pump series is suitable for rough industrial applications which can be customized to fit individual customer needs. A wide range of monitoring accessories and options are available. Different motor versions, inlet or exhaust ports, food-grade oil, food-grade paint, larger gas ballast are some examples of possible customizing.
The E and DK pumps are mechanically acting vacuum pumps on the principle of a rotary piston or plunger. The pumps are manufactured as single and two-stage pumps. The E pumps are single-stage pumps with a pumping speed of 250 m3/h (147cfm) and an ultimate pressure of 0,04 mbar (0.024 Torr). The DK pumps are two-stage pumps with a pumping speed of 200 m3/h (118 cfm) and an ultimate pressure of 5•10-4 mbar (3•10-4 Torr).
